Clinton’s pious talk about moving away from the polarization of modern politics will affect the current campaign to “get” conservative gabster Rush Limbaugh. A campaign, by the way, that is being championed by some of Clinton’s colleagues in the Senate.
Freedom of speech applies to everyone — conservative or liberal — or it applies to no one. When government officials get in the business of deciding who should or shouldn’t have the right to speak, freedom itself is at stake. Be afraid, be very afraid.
